johnny
Been trying to catch a magpie first tried my top entry trap put a nest in it with some mini eggs in no luck then tried side entry trap with nest and eggs again and camouflaged the trap a bit so didn’t stand out so much but still no luck. Any tips on getting that first magpie. cheers john

Konnie
Put a bit of road kill in there or adead rabbit, the placing of the trap is 75% of the success. Imo

rimfire4969
I find having the trap off the ground helps to get them interested, don’t be afraid to move it if you have no success. I stick a rabbit in one end and a nest of eggs the other. Also had some success with white bread chucked about and in the trap. Easiest way is get a bird of someone else, obviously difficult at the moment.
