One measly rabbit.

Hi gang.

                Got over one of my perms early this morning and only saw 2 rabbits. Got one missed one. No pigeons, magpies nothing except a few parakeets.

                 Roll  on Wednesday so i can get on a couple of my other perms. Where the rabbits are plenty. I know its the wrong time of year to shoot rabbits

                 if there is a wrong time but the damage their doing is criminal.

Only one for me also last night but it was my first with my 17 HMR , head shot at 80 yds off the quad sticks, .  Jim.

I dont think there is a “wrong time”  , if there were you could say the same about shooting pigeons/ crows etc

Shot one the other night that had 6 in it. I see that as a win as far as im concerned, im there to do a job, not for sport (tho if i didnt enjoy doing it i wouldnt). They need controlling, not eradicating, but like you, the damage is amazing where i shoot. Ive got 5 farms to wonder around, and on 2 i don touch the numbers, 3 i have to hammer. For now.
