wishy735
Hi all need some recommendations for an instant contact adhesive. Have a flat roof garage, which has asbestos flat sheets on the ceiling. For clarification, if you stand in the garage and look up you will then see the panels. I would like to cover them with osb, obviously don't want to secure osb in place by drilling or hammering nails in. So thought about instant contact adhesive. Any ideas? Thanks. Walker570
Run some wooden 'beams across every 18 inches to 2ft and screw to those. At that spacing and using 3/8 osb that should do it. Safer than relying on glue.
team tractor
I use contact adhesive most days and trust me I would not put my trust in it like that. if it’s to tidy it up you could use 2mm mdf and at least if it peels off it’s light

Demonic69
Are the sheets on joists? Could you attach the OSB to the joists instead?
