finreid
Evening all. Looking for some advice please on cartridges for inland geese in Scotland, over decoys and flighted. Will be for use in a 3" semi auto. Thinking 36-42g 2's or 3's - anyone recommend otherwise? Cheers

Dave at kelton
Don’t believe you need to go to 42 gms over decoys. I used 32 gm 4s successfully but as an all round cartridge would say go to 36 gm 3’s my go to load in a short chambered 10 bore.

Stonepark
36g no3 lead, 36g No1 steel are both suitable over decoys. Depending on what you can get from gun shop, Express, Victory are more reasonably priced, Eley and gamebore less common and more expensive generally.
