v-max
Hello went up to a mate's to have a stalk & then try a couple hour's lamping as he's got load's of foxes & im having to travel up to him 1hr north for good sport. He has load's of ground with roe/red's at time's & plenty foxes/crow's etc to shoot. We went for a stalk to find a roe & got into a nice buck & doe on a field of grass/clove about 1ft tall. The buck was a good beast but drifted into the wood before we got into position. We carryed on up the field's up the side of a 200acre wood his too & i said there's a stag up there after 1-2min's argueing he saw it was a redstag & the 1st he's seen there but has seen sign's of them there. We stalked to a shootable point of 200m & wee only had my rifle so i got to shoot & down he went.I asked 1st if we could drive up here etc for extraction so all go before i pull the trigger in the last 10/15min of light we had. A button buck i shot at the rut A pic of my dog at the grouse last week .
