steve_b_wales
I recently installed a Freesat box. In the morning, it's on standby (showing a red light) so I press the power button and the light turns to blue. A message (after a few seconds) comes on my TV screen which says 'Signal lost please wait'. It then takes a few more seconds and I get a picture. But after approx' one minute, the screen goes 'off' and FREESAT is shown. To get a TV picture is a nightmare, and I'm not sure where I'm going wrong? ph5172
Try seeing if your box is in low power or eco mode. took me ages to find out ours was and turned itself off everytime the tv was turned off.

Just watching a TV program and the picture went off but I still had sound! How do I find if it's low power or eco mode?

Don't think so, it's pretty mild at the moment, although in the past, if a bird so much as pooed on the satellite dish, all hell would break loose! 😀
