London Best
Does anyone recognise this holster. I have no idea what fits in it, or how I got it. Stamped on the rear, ‘Sussex Armoury’ and some other stamping which looks to be Russian to me (dunno?). Also stamped with a small R in a circle. Gun pocket is approx. 6 inch deep by 4 inch wide. Is it of any use to any of you?
bluesj
Sussex armory were based in hailsham east sussex and i think they are now air arms ( could be wrong on that) Looks like a revolver holster for a S&W K frame or Ruger special six. Walker570
Looks very similar to one I brought back from the USA in 1978 for use with a little snubby S&W 38 Special revolver we got issued with when in civies. Sits high on the waist belt out of sight. I would say that one carried a snubby revolver at some stage as the mark where the chamber rubbed can be seen. If I remember mine was made by Safari Leather in Los Angeles
Scully
Reminds me of what we’re commonly known as a ‘pancake’ holster as it was designed to sit flat underneath a jacket on the waistline? Designed for small framed revolvers or small autos I think.
