Walker570
I have just put up two new security lights in my yard and for the life of me cannot work out which way the LUX feature should be set. At the moment I have it set on the minus side and it is still coming on in the daytime, should it be set on the plus side. Getting a bit fed up of going up and down the ladder. HELPPPPPP!!!! Good shot?
On mine, if I turn power off for 10 or 15 seconds and then on again it is in operating mode and then I can set lux setting. If I turn power off and immediately on again it comes on and stays on. So, turn power off for 15 seconds and then on again and set LUX.. Hope it helps. Dougy
I have just replaced mine with a LED remote joby. No climbing up ladders to alter duration of the light on and can alter the sensitivity. Edited February 5, 2021 by Dougy
old'un
its usually minus to stop it coming on in daylight, difficult to try it now as its dark but you could try turning the dial in the opposite direction and see what effect that as, if its still coming on in daylight, no matter which way you turn it….its faulty. Walker570
Thanks. I will turn them both right down to zero/minus tomorrow and see what the result is. I'm not to worried about them coming on in daylight as they are only on for two minutes but would be better if they didn't. Both LEDs so not using much power anyway.
