WalkedUp
Can anyone recommend a good gun fitter for my brother in law? Based near Chester but willing to travel. He will be buying his first gun this year and I have suggested he goes to a fitter first. He is keen on the idea.

TIGHTCHOKE
WU, he may be better off buying something cheap and cheerful and learning to shoot and gaining a consistent mount first. Then, when he has that, it would be worth buying a gun and having it fitted.

Thanks, just seen this there is a great Lanber I have sent to him in the sales section. £170 just to get some confidence on gun handling etc. On 05/03/2021 at 23:33, Will Poon said: Midland gun services near Shrewsbury. welshwarrior
If it’s first gun and he’s a novice his money would be better spent on lessons and having a gun close enough until he’s established a consistent mount so the gun fitter can just work on the gun.
