smokinbarrels
Hi Gents, I applied for my licence on the 20th february and still heven't recieved it yet. The Firearms offficer called 5 weeks ago to carry out his inspection and said i would recieve my licence within 4 weeks.....i'm still waiting! I've also e mailed the firearms office at police HQ and didn't get a reply, funny thing is the cheque for my licence was cashed straight away. Regards, (a not so happy) Q
humperdingle
They ALWAYS cash cheques straight away... tight ****! Give them a friendly bell to ask how things are going along... be nice and polite. Mine took 7 weeks from posting application to grant of a license, so not too bad really. You'll get it soon. njc110381
I applied for my FAC in early January, and I'm still waiting. No point moaning, it'll be here when they get round to it! It is funny how the cheque gets cashed long before you get the letter confirming the application has been recieved. That's just life I guess
