Walker570
Shropshire partridges are usually traditional over the hedges birds, fast and furious. Wappenshall(J. Crow) puts on some good days. Ideal 28 gauge/410 country. There has become this fashion for shooting birds at extreme ranges. I have a friend who tells me he has to buy a heavy choked trap 12 gauge shooting magnum steel this season. Not my scene. I just wonder how many carry on pricked and never get picked.
