Dave at kelton
Well been looking for a little gun to get my grandson shooting and spotted a sh Yildiz 28 bore at Ian Coley. The plus point was it came with both youth and standard stocks. Gave them a call, discussed it but couldn’t collect for a few weeks when down collecting the grandkids. Not a problem did a great deal on the price agreeing 20% off and if I didn’t like it when I saw it money back. Called and collected as agreed and the gun is as new. A session with my grandson on clays and the youth stock fitted him perfectly. He hit more than he missed and was delighted. So my turn today. Took the stock off, action in great condition, a quick wipe and a touch of oil before changing to the full stock. An afternoon at Westlands and aside of struggling on the high tower I shot remarkably well with it. A light gun so needs light loads. My grandson shot 16gm and didn’t feel it. I shot 21 gms with open chokes and it performed faultlessly. If you are looking at a little gun for a junior and want something to play with yourself I strongly recommend the Yildiz 28 bore. As to Ian Coleys, a thoroughly professional outfit that I would highly recommend.
Scully
Good for you. I think we all need to do more to introduce and encourage the next generation of shooters.

And that is why there are insidious elements within the Home Office and the devolved Holyrood executive who would seek to strangle youngsters having access to airguns and (in Scotland now no longer a "good reason" to back yard and back garden plinking. Dave at kelton
And to update this post the gun didn’t come with spare chokes or key. A quick word with Iain at Westlands and ten days later they were there for me. More great service and what a gunroom they now have there.
