The first  one, actually lives close to me, as I've found out who she is. I'm just waiting (hoping) for a direct threat to me, my family or property, and then I will deal with it.

Not only are you now are lowering yourself to their level and, you have posted on a public forum that you are doing so in bad faith.

Honestly, whilst I do not wish to appear to go into bat for these types of people, we still have some semblance of free speech in this country, and they are still free to call you something that rhymes with anchor on a public forum.

Bares repeating because it seems a lot of people struggle with the concept: You are not the customer on Social media, you are the product.  You paid nothing for this 'service'.  Given this reality, why do you have any expectation of service level, including moderation of content?

Dealing with it, meant I will contact the police at the first instance and then my solicitor. I would not take the law into my own hands.

I think you've rather missed my point.

But no matter, you are seriously proposing to contact the police because somebody said something nasty to you on Facebook?  What criminal offence do you believe has been committed?

Do you really believe the police should get involved with matters such as this?

If you read my post again, you will see that I said I am waiting for a direct threat to myself, family or property. Then I would contact the police.
