samboy
Hi gang. In the BASC mag there are a pair of Munro leather boots at £88.95. They look ok but was wondering if anyone on here has got some and if so are they any good. Thanks all.
Gordon R
Had my Hoggs of Fife boots for about 10 years. They are quite stiff and not the easiest boots to get on. Once on, they are comfortable and would seem durable enough to survive an atomic explosion. That said, they are not my first choice boots as they weigh at least double any of my other boots. They feel like deep sea divers boots when I first put them on, but soon get used to them.
Stuarta
My local farm shop sells Hoggs boots and I am on my second pair. They are very well made but as already been said they are heavy and on long walks I wear a lighter pair of hiking boots. For around the farm they are fine and they clean up well. I need to wear cushion insoles in mine as they are very firm inside and the soles of my feet hurt if I don’t after a few hours.
Wymondley
I have some Hoggs work boots, too stiff and uncomfortable for me. Very well made though.
