Hunter
Bending the rules, to which I apologise. I had one for a month, it shot striaght, not once jammed with any weight cartridge from 36-28g, cheap and nasties to expensive HV stuff. Sold it to buy a pump action I always dreamed of owning. I am considering buying another as I liked the looks and feel.
EvoCars
mine did play up to start with, its trigger spring was not long enough, and I was getting the odd missifre, edgars sorted that for me, quickly aswell, and since then its been perfect, not had one bit of bother with it, and I dont mind taking it out in the landy or round the farms ect being cheap and robust, where as id be scared to use my beretta for rough shooting. BigGun1
Peter-Peter, you got a real problem with cheap guns eh?? I have an escort and so far it's great, as said above I dont want to risk a good gun rough shooting, mine cycles all the **** cartridges I throw at it and feels nice to shoot.. codling99
had mine 2 years or so now, have had the odd jam on 3rd cart coming up,but with 70 mm carts its rare ,happens more when it needs a clean.dont clean it very often but shoots well, had 9 crows for 13 shots yesterday so does me. Oly
Great gun, especially for the price. Had mine for 18 months or so and was great, as per the others it jammed on the 3rd cart if I was using less than 28gms - but I think that it reasonable for the price and considering it was the 3.5" magnum version too. Now I have a Berratta but wouldn't worry about recommending them to anyone thinking about trying out the world of semi's.
BSA Shaun
Fantastic guns. Doesn't like light cartridges that much and does get the occasional jam on them, but 30g and above and its great. Cycles my Celar pigeon 32g 6's all day long, shoots straight and hits the target hard. Its a 3 1/2" magnum steel proofed. For the money I paid that's a right result. Can take it out in the rough stuff, if it gets a knock it gets a knock. At the end of the day you could buy a second hand beretta with no come back or warranty or a year old or new escort which is still under warranty. IMO analagy its equivalent to buying a second hand mercedes or a brand new ford with a warranty. Both will do the same job at the end of the day, just down to a bit of manufacturer preference / snobbery. my 2p

pavman
A lot of bang for your buck, but can be fussy as to what carts it likes

Townie
I think I've been lucky. Had mine a year and no problems at all. It cycles 65mm 24 grams happily and shoots where I point. I'd get a beretta 303, but I need 3" magnum for wildfowling.
