Centrepin
I was watching a dead cert coming in, wings flared, legs out, it was going to land so close it could have perched on my hide. I raised the gun, pulled the trigger and my seat gave way. It's an old seat I keep hidden in the margins to save a carry. Face down in the mud I reflected it could have been much worse. After I'd cleaned the barrels, checked the gun over and was sat picking mud from the safety and top lever I finally looked up. 32gram x 5s at about 12", 1/4 choke. Don't think I could have aimed and done that so neat. At least I smiled. Next time it's back to the Begara seat.
London Best
Just shows what could happen to a close friend’s head!
Centrepin
It certainly makes you think. Only a couple of days ago I was out with my grandson.
Scully
It happens, thankfully no harm done. If you’re ever in the middle stand of the Sport-trap stand at Westlands, have a look at the horizontal beam directly above your head. 🙂
Fellside
That last pie must have just been too much for the seat 😄
