Hi all, I currently have 2 cars on the road but I’m dropping to one car shortly.
can i combine the no claims together on one policy or do I just need to accept the loss of a couple of years from the car I’m dropping?

Are the cars on the same policy?

From what little I know the only thing you can do is get the no claims evidence from the policy you are dropping and when you renew the other one submit the evidence and you will them bump up the remaining policy to whatever the other one was.  Not that it makes much difference these days!

That’s sort of what I was hoping was possible… it’s only an extra year but every little helps these days

I lost all of my no claims bonus when I went down to one car .  I got rid of the car ( and policy) that had full no claims ( they'd only let me have no claims on one car) . When I got rid of the other car and bought a new one , they'd only give me 1 year no claims , despite the fact that they could see that I'd never made a claim .
