NoBodyImportant
Went to the trade lot(farmers market) with my son and picked up a really neat 22lr. It’s was in great shape but I needed to make a rear sight elevator.

enfieldspares
I've done only the one "rocky mountain" backsight elevator and that was now thirty years ago. And that a simple one with no base like your inverted "T" but just a simple flat like an "I". I found that the most difficult part was getting the notches so that each notch was, yes, that little bit higher than the one previous. Nice job. The work looks simple but having been there, seen it, done it I can vouch that it is far from simple! Gordon R
Is it curved on the base? Another dimension to an already impressive piece of work.

Yes, I’m impressed you noticed a simple but incredibly hard make detail. The barrel was .715 in diameter so I stuck it sideways in the vise and plunged cut a micro boring tool straight down.
