smokingdragon
Over the last month I have lost chickens and ducks to a fox and up to now haven't been able to get it. Anyway yesterday morning one of my neighbours called me to see he can see a fox wandering around in gardens and close to my land. Before I could get a gun, my wife let the dogs out into the woods to scare it off, but that failed as the neighbour called again to say it was still about. I took my Hatsan pump out with 42gm BB lead and waited in the woods perched on the side if a steep slope, within 5 mins the fox came through the undergrowth within 2 mtrs of me and looked at me, I slowly brought the gun up and fired - dead and then I unceremoniously slipped backwards down the slope on my a8rse. Only a young fox but very brazen. Don't know if this is the main culprit but can't have foxes coming out in the day!
