islandgun
Someone asked a few weeks ago if there was any news of Sea eagles and BF, clearly it was only a matter of time. Sadly I'm seeing large numbers of Gannets and other sea birds dead on the shore...https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-62673694

Could be this virus is getting out of control .

JohnfromUK
The RSPB have (of course) turned this into an 'anti shooting' campaign; https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/aug/10/calls-to-ban-gamebird-release-to-avoid-catastrophic-avian-flu-outbreak
bornfree
I work in the poultry industry. The cases are non stop, last week a local farm had to cull 18,000 geese and today another outbreak in game birds.

The number of dead gannets along the coastline was shocking to see.
