Cheap, totally waterproof. I bought mine from their factory shop in London years ago - best truly waterproof coat I own. Not warm, but it keeps out the rain.

FRAHM jackets pop up on my Instagram feed now and then. Not cheap but may be worth a look for those interested.

I was rather hoping there'd be a clear favourite, seems not, but it's certainly given me some names I'd not heard of to look at.

I may wait and visit the shooting show in Feb', so I can actually try some on.

Bought a Duck Dri coat off eBay (I am ashamed to say) and it is the best made field coat I have had. Much better than Barbour etc. Also have their treggings (bought direct), which are equally well made, although I do think they would be better with belt loops rather than draw strings. You can always send them cash!
