flippermaj
Does anyone have or know where I can get load data for a 35 or 36 gram steel load in a 70mm case? Winchester and Fiocchi have got these loads commercially but the only data I can get for 70mm cases stops at 32 gram of steel? Windswept
There's a few loads for Viht powder for 35g steel here (not used them myself): https://www.vihtavuori.com/reloading-data/shotshell-reloading-data/ (Actually they're 76mm so no use, sorry). Jimbo yorks
Tbh you would be better off going up to 3" easier to load and will drop the pressures. I've heard the cartridges your taking about can sometimes have bulges in the cases due to having so much stuffed in them. 32 gram about the limit of a 70mm case to be effective tbh. Smudger687
RC might give you load data if you ask nicely (somehow I doubt it) as they've managed to stuff 34g of steel into a 70 mm case in their atomic steel range
Fen tiger
Chedite case will give you decent amount of room, And B&P35 wad would fit with arounnd 32 grain of newer lots of A steel. ignition just stick with CX2000 dont need any primers with a high briscance with the newer lots A ateel these days. I would say go with a RTO on new Chedite hulls use frangible top discs and if going bio wads trial and error to get the was colum right and get these wild cat loads tested to stay super safe and perhaps more important in line with the Politically Correct trends around reloading data this last decade or so.
