My son got a advisory that he needed  tyres for his truck and after looking he got them cheaper delivered and fitted from the internet . How can that be the same tyres travelling half the country than from a local suppliers

I did the same, many years ago, from a company called Black Circles. I bought the tyres including the fitting charge at one of their named tyre fitters.

Yes thats what he did i have been told to expect a delivery of tyres then he goes to a depot and gives them a voucher

Asda tyres online prices include fitting at a local to you partner garage and no one could touch them price and speed wise for the  bf Goodrich ko2’s on my ranger. I think it simply comes down to buying power*. 
 

 

* the garage that fitted them did say that in future they would price match for me

My local tyre fitter told me a few years ago to order the rear tyre for my trike from black circle as they would A. have it in stock  and B.they would have to match the price under their price promise, have done it 6 times now, order it  and it arrives a couple of days later, my Tyre fitter knows it's for my trike as i list it as a Ferrari F50 as there is no drop down for my trike and he puts it to one side.

I have used the one on the basc membership page a few times. It was the cheapest when shopping around. Costco can be good for car tyres too but depends on the offers.
