charlie b
before buying night vision i borrowed a pard nv007 i can see rabbitts no bother with it off the scope but once lts on my scope i can hardly see any thing its a hawke vantage 4 x12 x50 rimfire .22 lr subsonic ir i realise a parrallax adjustable is best but has any one used a similare scope with any success im loath to change as it works on my rifle should i just buy a 70 quid lamp and stay old school
harrycatcat1
I was going to buy one but Derby gun room advised against matching it against my scopes as he said it would be blurred as scopes non adjustable if that makes sense. Weihrauch17
You focus the view through the scope at various ranges on the Pard with the Parallax on the scope, you only focus the screen graphics with the Pard controls.
oldypigeonpopper
Hello, that is not a suitable scope, either a side focus or AO is more for the 007 , if you happy with that scope just buy a decent red led torch, a night sabre from ludicrous lumins is a good torch, mine is a 48 mm, depending what rifle eg air or L/R there are 2 types of red LEDs, Edited December 31, 2022 by oldypigeonpopper

Ultrastu
If you do decide to change the scope for one with focusing .choose a side parrelax one not a front objective lens focusing. The reason is on some scopes altering the front ao (focus ring ) can shift your zero .especially if you have to move it a lot to get the nv image sharp at the range you want to shoot (most likely) .A side focus won't suffer from this effect as much if at all . Would a base NV 90 be better for a non adjustable scope on an air rifle for close rats 🐀? I am just thinking you wouldn't be refocusing from say 100m to 150m if it's all close work at 20m 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 I haven't a clue just asking. Ultrastu
Usually focusing is MORE critical at close range than further out .so the amount you have to move the side wheel /front ao to focus from say 10 - 15 yds is huge compared to from 100 - 150 yds . Hello, more like the same as the 007, with a non AO or side focus scope the only night vision I would say is a rear add on screen type, something like the NVS 30 Edited January 4, 2023 by oldypigeonpopper
