Bear68
I'm considering buying a 20 bore sxs for walked-up and driven game (not high birds). The gun I'm looking will be fine for standard steel. How effective have people found steel 20 bore cartridges for this type of shooting? The alternative is just to go for 12 bore. holloway
I have used Eley eco steel in my 20 all season ,if you aim at the bird and it’s in range you can’t tell the difference from lead.

I second this used the same last year and if you were on the bird they were dead.
grahamch
Try and find landofficer on you tube, he has done a few videos on steel on 20's for pigeons which are useful to watch
Scully
As mentioned elsewhere in this catergory, many guns this season on the commercial shoot where I beat, have been using Eley Pro Eco, and we get some very high birds.
