Ended up paying more than I intended though, and went for the cd100 as it had better position of buttons and LCD display. Money in the bank is depressing and I've scrimped and saved for too long. Had a " what the hell moment ". Happy Days. ****** the tinnitus, Meatloaf and Celine Dion here I come. I can programme and skip tracks again, which I can't do with the memory sticks I have now. 30-6 Posted May 1, 2023 Author Report Share Posted May 1, 2023 Snap, I bought one £46 worth. Specifically to Bluetooth to my Duster 2019 radio. My youngest son who's pretty good with this sort of thing could not get it to pair either . I have to use it via the 3.5 by 3.5 jack plug lead to the auxiliary out from the radio. 30-6 Posted May 3, 2023 Author Report Share Posted May 3, 2023 Apparently to pair Oakcastle items with a device, the device must be compatible with Bluetooth 4.2. Otherwise wise you can use the 3.5 X 3.5 jack lead to plug into cd player and the auxiliary out of in this case car radio. All functions are then controlled with the cd player. 30-6 Posted May 4, 2023 Author Report Share Posted May 4, 2023 Yes, it's just like a 3.5 headphones socket. You use a lead 3.5 X 3.5, one into your radio and one into the cd player. On the model I bought cd 100 you then use the cd player controls to play cd's. I got that model as the LCD display is on the top and easily visible.
