Mice!
I've read a few times that they won't expand at sub 12, but so long as there accurate it doesn't really matter.
Longbower
I think that one on the left has expanded👍 So did the squirrel!😂
Ultrastu
Yeah .they don't really expand at 900 fps either . Not worth the drop in bc if you ask me . If they are very accurate then that trumps other factors. I like the h+n hunter extreems in .177 they tend to smack rabbits and rats hard but again don't show huge expansion . THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
I done some experiments many years ago. Too much to tap out here. I just use flats for short range & domes for everything else. Some pellets I would call fashion with good marketing for boosting sales. Gas seal
Hi Longbower . I tried hades .177 in my BSA ultra and they weren’t accurate enough to use. Last year I bought a gamo gx40 in .177 and the hades pellets (the same ones) were accurate in the gamo gun. It could be the longer barrel on the gamo. I didn’t expect them to expand or flatten l tested them along with other pellets. The pellets I retrieved looked like your pellets with bits of flesh in the cross of the pellets. When I test my zero I shoot at used cartridge cases at the range I will be shooting at. This is a photo of one that a pellet flattened on, I can’t remember the pellet type.
