SuperGoose75
First new queen's of the season! Dug half a mile up the road by a local farmer. Usually earlies are a bit watery, but these were nice and floury. A few more weeks and it will be Kerr Pink time.
morgan
Look tasty, I have been munching on cornish potatos from a local grower at the car boot, locally scourced grub is always satisfying 🙂

yates
Great to see but unfortunately for us around these parts getting local new spuds is a thing of the past

New spuds need nothing more than butter, salt and white pepper and maybe a few chopped scallions/spring onions. That said I had a York cabbage steamed then tossed in the frying pan with butter, salt and black pepper. We also had some butchers mince. A few months down the line when the spuds are not so new, then indeed a pouring of gravy will be a very welcome addition. 3 hours ago, yates said: Great to see but unfortunately for us around these parts getting local new spuds is a thing of the past That is a pity! 3 hours ago, harrycatcat1 said: 😋😋😋😋👍👍 Cheers Harry 👍
