If its a grant give them a call and make sure they have received it. When I sent my application off, I received a call the next day arranging an interview. Bagsy
Don't worry, it'll be along before long. As the others have said, most forces are on go slow at the moment.

Gonna Shoot a Wabbit
Dont panic yet. I waited 11 weeks for my sgc / fac just to be renewed. They got here eventually, was beginning to wonder if they were coming by carrier pigeon.

J@mes
ring up and ask if they got it then
robbsy
you might have a little wait mine took 9 weeks, seems like your waiting forever but it's good when it finally gets sorted. I'd also keep ringing them and chase it up every other week obviously being polite of course
dazzyboi
depends, i got mine in about 6-7 weeks IIRC, it varies between forces though, some forces claim to have a "Backlog"
pin
I know I personally keep saying it but don't hesitate chasing them, remember you are paying for the service
wy111
My mate who I wanted to help me in vermin control on our shoot applied for a .17 hmr. He had a lot of previous experience with .22lr target, but had relinquished his licence because of lack of use a lot of years ago. It took him about 4 months, but without a mentor
mr_colt
I applied for my shotgun cert grant in early July. It has got through the initial "backlog", been processed, feo visited, gone to licensing manager and finally it is with the Assistant Chief Constable. It has been with the A.C.C for the last two weeks, I have been just told to wait for it to be dealt with... So yet another wait of indeterminable length.... mr_colt.
