I just don't see how Smith can play full back, he's a weak point in defence,  if I'm a Fijian running through at Smith I'd be giddy knowing I'm going run over him.

Oh no. Farrell's wonderful tackling ability will help out there... for five minutes before he's carded for a no arms tackle.

He's not been carded in the WC yet, that's what matters, and he makes the tackle, anytime someone runs at Smith I expect them to go straight through him, let's hope I'm wrong.

It could be interesting in attack though

He only played one game give the poor lad chance  I think he will behave but I also think you are right about Smith being  fullback also I think Ford has done well to get them where they are

Played two hasn't he? He only missed the first two games.

Well done Argentina Wales was there own worst enemy as for the none foul play not looking where he was tackling and a no arms tackle  as well

Unforced errors and bad kicking,  I expected Wales to win, Argentina have been average throughout the tournament so far, but did better on the day.

I also thought Wales should have had a yellow on the line for penalties but it doesn't matter now.

Try saving tackle from the Argentina player, head in the wrong place, but I don't think he's bothered.

I missed the game. What happened with the Argentine non-red/yellow? On the text the comms were saying it should have been a red, but then the ref gave nothing at all?!

Wales made the tackle, Argentina came in to clear out, and the Welsh 12 dropped down as the Arg made contact,  it was only on the third slow mo I realised he had made head contact,  bicep looked like it connected with the shoulder, then shoulder to head, TMO flagged it, but ref said the Wales lad had dropped down so there was nothing the player could do, he didn't even look like he'd seen the player move, he was just looking to do his job, so Argentina kept the penalty.

Then the Welsh 12 got sent for a HIA.

That was some first half, thought NZ should have had a Yellow earlier for the tackle on Bundi, how they said no contact I've no idea.

But Ireland are right back in it, but NZ look really dangerous,  beating the rush defence with cute little chips over the top, a lot of rugby to play yet in the second half.

Totally agree. NZ have definitely done their homework, re the little chips over.

Gonna be an even better second half methinks 😃

Ireland scored points on the first yellow card but I don't think they did on the second?
Just a brilliant game, I'm English through and through, but gutted for Ireland, held up over the line, 30+ phases and NZ just held them.
You could see how much it meant to the Irish lads on the floor at the end, they couldn't have given any more.

NZ, wow, they had a poor pool, only played one real game then turned in that performance, they made little infringements at the rucks and got away with it, rarely offside, showed great discipline, tackled well and looked to have worked Ireland out.

Shame that wasn't the final.

Porter gave away 3 or 4 pens at scrum time and no warning NZ two yellow  cards no warnings Ireland  was out of ideas at the end and Sexton bad looser

Something must have been said to Sexton, he's never been a good loser,  but winners never are.

Porter should have been subbed earlier,  the ref was penalising him at the scrums so replace him.

I wanted to see the odds for an all Northern hemisphere Semi 🙈🙈 this is why I don't bet 😅😅

Just think, it might only be England that reach the semis from the Northern hemisphere 😅😅😅🙈🙈🙈
