Swatcom SC20 Enhanced or Normal

Hi everyone, I'm after some information on anyone that has used SC20's. There isn't any detailed information on these that I have been able to find. The price is great for the custom moulded version with the 10% off approx. £315, a lot cheaper than CFG or CENS.

I want to know if the enhanced version would be good for wildfowling with the wind noise and wet conditions. Also do you have to remove the batteries each use as by the look of the pictures on the box there is no on/off switch.

If anyone has the user guide that would be great for me to have a further read.

I really don't want to pay 6/700 for ear protection, I currently wear one disposable plug if I bother at all as I like the situational awareness of what is around me. Any advice or user experience is appreciated.

I say wildfowling as this is where they’ll be getting most use over the season. Not expecting them to last decades but at least a few.

I can't help regarding  Swatcom but after my Cens dropped to bit's I replaced them with Isotunes Caliber BT sport, I've used them on a sim day and been very pleased you can also if you want connect them to your phone.

these are also tempting I like the way you can recharge them like air pods. I did read a lot of mixed reviews on Amazon though especially regarding white noise feedback and them switching off randomly.

The little box they come in also charges them then you just recharge the box. I just use on the lowest volume setting done by tapping the left one, I got mine via the Isotunes Web site that gave me I think 15% off . There are little magnets in the box so they cannot fall out, I also put a neck cord on just as a precaution but they haven't fallen out yet. You also get several set's of different size foam inserts.

Still really torn, anybody used CFG Switch? How are they for still hearing things whilst wearing them?

On the marsh you ideally want sounds to be amplified, so even assuming best case scenario of no hearing loss with passives, you're still at a disadvantage compared to electronics. IIRC other members on this forum reported that the passives block out a considerable amount of noise even in the absence of loud noises. Personally don't see the point in them.

How have you been getting on with them, they have mixed reviews online, some saying they are excellent, some saying they are not so excellent, some even saying they were faulty out the box.

I'm thinking of getting a pair bit don't want to waste money on them, so an honest real world review would be great.
