No/Yes it`s done on weight of powder, and I can`t be bothered to find it but I`m sure mry716 has posted it, but I`m sure it`s enough to focus your attention if it goes pop........nanoseconds before you are atomised.

 

as i have about 1200 at the moment and was worried taht was to much to store

1200 must be OK, most clay shooters buy them 1000 at a time and they've usually got some left when they buy the next batch. I sometimes buy 2000 at a time if I'm feeling flush (not very often :good: )

From memory you may store several thousand shotgun cartridges, and therefore the average shooter is not affected by these regulations unless he reloads either shotgun or rifle amunition, in which case the regulations may or may not applt dependant on the quantities involved.
