Steven Ho
Morning all, looking for your thoughts on the Gamo pcp air rifles(Gx250 or Phox)
enfieldspares
I think that the triggers on some are awful, awful, awful. Which is odd as Gamo own BSA and BSA triggers are good, good, good. My advice try a number of shots before you buy.

arjimlad
I have a GX40 Adding a slightly longer screw to the trigger adjustment transforms the trigger, there is a lot on AGF about this. It's been reliable and is extremely accurate. I would have another quite happily. I removed the barrel band because it was prone to knocks and would therefore affect zero. Free-floating the barrel has shown no adverse effects. The bolt pull has to be quite positive though, so maybe not great for a younger person. Pyb
I have a .177 Phox. I’ve floated the barrel and used the screw from the clamp to modify the trigger. Vastly improved the trigger and the accuracy is spot on with the BSA barrel.
