Shocking!

I got my renewal paperwork sent to me Christmas week, new carts arrived 1st of March which I think is pretty good,, a month before expiry

What you are experiencing is just unacceptable

Just starting the process of coterminous renewal. Got my medical form to the doctors 2 weeks ago and have heard today that I can collect it tomorrow, £40 charge. Hants police web site says 12 week turn around but email from firearms dept says I can apply up to 16 weeks in advance so my renewal will go in mid March for early July renewal date. Fingers crossed.

When I renewed last time I took some flack on here for paying £40 to my doctor for placing a marker on my records, how times have changed!

Got to give Met credit sent my renewal in December for a joint FAC/ shotgun first one after five years.

Had a call last week from FAO asking a few questions and contacting my refs'

Had a time delay not from Met but one farm manager who took his time to reply to them.

Told no problems and new ticket should be here in three  weeks So well done Met Police👍

My son applied for a coterminus FAC/SG Cert last June, (he has held both in the past but let them lapse.)

Hampshire Police have contacted him a few times apologising for the delay and recently volunteered the information that they are now processing June applications although people who's jobs require licenses, such as Gamekeepers/Forestry workers etc. are getting first dibs.
