hatsan escort cleaning

hi, just bought my first semi auto - a hatsan escort 12g, 3 inch chamber, 28inch barrel.
just wondering what i should be doing in terms of cleaning for it?
took it out and put a box through it just messing, took the barrel off and gave it a push through and oil as i've always done with my break actions.
just not sure what i should be doing in terms of the gas piston and bolt etc.

I clean mine as the following;

take it apart (clearly 😂)

oil a rag and wipe everything down, gas cylinder, inside the gas tube not forgetting to remove and inspect the gas o ring.

clean inside the gas ports

Wipe the magazine tube down and clean the spring.

lightly oil everything and place it back together.

so took it apart today, was fairly dirty so cleaned the gas (chamber?) (bit that comes off the barrel with the ports), cleaned the in and out of the piston, pulled the slide back and cleaned the outside of the mag tube and then wiped it all down with an oily rag.

only thing i noticed after watching a strip down video is that there is no o ring in front of the gas piston?
isnt inside the barrel part isnt under the piston couldnt find it anywhere, the gun cycles fine even with 28gr clay cartridges so not fussed unless it could cause damage?

the chokes read v3 wether that helps i dunno

The choke is how the spread is affected.

when you take the silver gas piston either out of the barrel or off the mag tube, there should be an o ring on it. This keeps it gas tight and ensures that your getting efficient cycling.

I upgraded my o ring and mine now cycles Fiocchi TT21, 21g with ease.

Sorry for the late reply fellas;

They were sold on eBay as updated O-Rings,

here is the EBay number for them, they work a treat! 362905759749

and like a say, I have fired approx 250-300 mainly (24’s but some 28’s) rounds through mine and it cycles Fiocchi TT21F’s with ease.
