I mean do you need a dovetail mount or a Picatinny and what do you need in terms of both physical (so max distance between back and front of mount is 7.35cm for example) and do you need a 3-9 or a 4-24 scope or what? Downforce Posted May 14 Report Share Posted May 14 11 minutes ago, speaky53 said: So I need a longer body scope But we don’t know what longer means without the measurements So if you can measure the current Leupold scope then we know what it needs to be Also if you want to reuse the rings you have got (maybe) then it’s going to be important that the new scope has the same size tube (so measure the diameter of the hole in the rings they’re probably 1” / 25mm or 30mm or 34mm) And if the Leupold fits height wise (so the fat part of the lens doesn’t hit the rifle) you’re probably going to want something similar to the Leupold 50 But if you’re looking at a huge gap between the Leupold scope and the rifle barrel you might be able to get a bigger scope like a 60 or something Does that make sense?
