Goody
Does anyone know of a good source of radios that are waterproof and will run off an external 12V battery?

udderlyoffroad
Another vote for normal radios but with a ‘roof’ made for it out of an 4 pint plastic milk bottle Have to say though we noticed they did little except annoy the underkeepers 😂 myself included. Am sure pheasants don’t want to listen to “the Archers” either.

I hang mine under the covered ways - and move them about so that raptors / mustelids and indeed foxes dont get used to them Also park one of the shoot "scrappers" by the pen and move that every other day
Rim Fire
we have got through dozens of batteries up to now and yesterday a goss was no farther than 5 meters from the radios with a kill myself think they are a waste of time in the pens in day lite might be different at night for the Tawny owls
