I think I have just cooked my Chinese PCP compressor the little blue one you see on eBay for under £200 , used it 3 times ,is there anything a bit better built that’s not going to break the bank, maybe I should be charging the actual gun rather than a 7lt dive bottle so they don’t have to work so hard, what are you folks using and how are you changing ,there are no dive shops that local to me to just get the bottle filled.

Thanks

Hello, The small chinese PCP compressors are not realy suitable for Air cylinders and most on the AGF just fill their PCP rifles, You could try contacting the Ebay seller on the Warranty ??,

I think your right, I was expecting to much from it .

no nothing all i do is if i am fill a 500cc bottle on my stealth i run it till its half full then stop it bleed the air out the hose then 20min later start the compressor with the bleed screw open for a minute then close the bleed screw you do this every time before pumping air in and let it run till its at 300bar the compressor stops its self at the pressure you set it at

I use the Blue Yong Heng Chinese compressor and in the 4 year's of running it I have had to replace the final stage piston seals once , You run it for 10 min only with a bleed down at 5 min another 5 min and then let it cool off for 10 min before starting the next pumping cycle , also scrap the 32 hydraulic spec oil they used to recommend and use a fully synthetic diester oil in it that is designed for reciprocating compressors  , No smell and very low carbon build up and better lubrication qualities for a dipper lubricated compressor,

I top off a 3 lt and a 5 lt cylinder from 200 ish to 315 bar with this and apart from the new high pressure seals once no problems so far.

This compressor sounds the one for me, I assume you can get adapters to fit different air rifles or does it come with something you can attach your filling probe to, I have 3 rifles all different filling probes just to be awkward 😂

Thanks

Hello, Best Fitting do  Quick Coupler sets that you can fit on compressor hose then the adapter goes on the fill probe

Compressing air produces an incredible amount of heat. The compressor in my garage used to run absolutely red hot and we were only using it for a spray gun at around 100 psi. It quite often kicked off the thermal cut off if it was left running too long
