NorfolkBoy
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7094764.stm Is it me or does it not seem odd to spend 3K on virtual furniture?
Suffolk shooter
Jesus you'd think that they would have had better things to do than sit on a computer talking to others and posting stuff SS

Poacher
I've read about this type of cyber world. I think there is one called 2nd life and some people are now spending more money/time on there than they do in their real life. Insania or what
pin
They have proper currency, there is an exchange rate etc. Lad that works for one of my teams took this week off because there was an expansion out for Everquest, he's literally taken a week of his holiday to play the game. I have avoided such things, I bet they are really good, but they don't call it "Evercrack" for nothing
Wookie
Funnily enough, an avatar in Second Life actually consumes more power than a real brazilian, meaning that the sad **** that "play" it all the time (notice the quotes) are killing the planet more quickly than just about anyone else. dunganick
what the people were doing is just conning people, i knew some people who used to do the same thing on habbo, same principle as all the stupid conns that get emailed to you, and low and behold they all fall for it. Heard of some people to conn £10 worth of stuff in an evening or two, its all sad, esspecially as kids are spending their money on it, and other kids are then conning them out of it. Highlander
Well for a small (read LARGE) fee I could probably arrange for all you 'playboys' to shoot virtual pigeons (in vast numbers) over a crop of virtual whatever, from your own virtual hide, with a virtual cannon and virtual deeks. I'd guarantee the weather, the birds etc etc...put poor Mr B out of business Whatever next, get a real life? just for a change!

Mungler
I would just send round the cyber boys to make a cyber collection else their virtual house might virtually catch fire.
