Welshpestcontroller
I have x2 Benelli Super Black Eagle 2’s , both made in 2008, both have the Italian double star proof marks but no fleur de lys for HP Steel, my friends is exactly the same as well. Im not too concerned as they are designed as waterfowl guns but im intrigued to see if this is standard practice for Benelli, my Beretta Extrema 2 is a similar age and has the fleur de lys proof mark. It is standard practice. Even recent supernovas do not have the fleur de lys. Pay no attention to it.

Scully
I wouldn’t read too much into a lack of fleur delys marks personally. My Super 90 has the FDL mark and while it may be a selling point, the fact your guns are 16 years old doesn’t alter the fact Benelli barrels are made exactly to the same spec’ now, as they were then. Dave at kelton
Shot benellis on geese in Canada, higher pressure loads, big steel shot and with thousands of rounds per season and no problems
