enfieldspares
Hello! Thank you for sharing your video. Thirty years ago when I home loaded black powder 12 bore RTO paper cased cartridges I went to one of those photocopy and rubber stamp shops (or you could even make you own stamp) and had a stamp made up with 6. on it multiple times, staggered, and 7 on another stamp. Again staggered and multiple times. I guess for TSS #9 it'd be 9. multiple times. I then laid the overshot wads flat and stamped them all. Then had a bagful of the things ready for loading and all marked up just like the old Eley overshot wads used to be. It seemed indeed to make the gun shoot better. LOL! Northerner
As someone who has no experience of TSS, how does the shot size work? Are the shot sizes the same size as lead? If so is it the higher density that allows a smaller size to be used?

So the bare physics give it more killing power at longer ranges. So most people go up pellet sizes because of this and this fills out the pattern. No. 7 seems the common size for geese, but 8s , 9s and even 10s have killed greylag geese stone dead for me. The advantage is the pattern density you get because lots of small pellets can be used. Downsides, it’s eye wateringly expensive and patterns very tightly under 30 yards. If most of your shots are under 30 yards I’m not sure you’d need it because anything will work at those ranges including steel and even rock salt! Just my thoughts and in this case it makes a small gauge a viable option for wildfowling.
GADWALL41
Hi there C W. I am enjoying your videos and please keep them coming. I do know how much the extra weight , time to set them up etc the cameras take not to mention the editing. I thought I would post here rather than on YT . I to had been looking at a 28 Gauge option and ad looked at the Zildiz 28g , however something you said in the video caught my ear and that was this . The 28g is HP STEEL PROOF , dont take offence but are you sure ?. Zildiz make no mention of that in there ads online see pics below. 12 g is yes and I think also 20g but not the 28g and also that is 70mm chamber . Am I not right in thinking that HP STEEL can only be used in a 3in 76mm chamber ?, I could be wrong where I shoot it is only season 2 of non toxic for us and I have to very careful as I have 2 guns A400 76mm and an Ultralight Gold 70MM , so one HP and one SP. Recap , is the 28g SS HP proffed ? and is 76mm 3in chambers the only proof for HP NON TOX, thanks , good shooting on the teal and your wegion on this vid. As I am here is it possible to give us a run down on your video gear low light settings etc some time , thank you or whoever chips in. GADWALL41
BH , so there was no introduction to the Zildiz 28g and there was no Z 28g used in the video with mention of HP STEEL proof etc.?. you must have been watching a different video to me . Not the first time you have gone off on someone with claims of off topic either now is it . Title of the Video --- Another New gun , ZILDIZ 28 GAGUE.................. POST ABOVE ZILDIZ 28G. ss HP proof.
