Hello, I tried various feeds , Peanut butter coated wheat etc, but now i just pinch a bit of Pig or Goat feed on 1 farm , Wheat grain on main farm, They do not seem to like Barley seed ?? , On the main farm there has been quite an influx of Rats which i suppose the weather and cold brings them in , Big Grain Dryer / Feed barn/ and Bale barn ,

snarepeg
I think part of the problem might be the chicken feeder, only a couple of yards from shed. used to see them in and out carrying pellets so could have a stash under shed?? frustrating it is. Hello, If you know the Farmer well can you not find a way to stop the rats getting under the shed ? I did this to a very old barn where rats had chewed through the old stone at ground level, dug out a 2 foot trench, placed in small hole chicken wire with 1 ft above ground and filled with concrete, Grass now covers the above ground wire, It stopped the Rats , now I put bait down away from barn and shoot them there,
