police marksman

I'm a tad sceptical about the article. Firstly no way is that beast 6 weeks old secondly it went through a second floor window despite being fired downwardly on grass and thirdly the guy found the bullet "a piece of steel" on the floor. I'd almost bet its found to either not be a bullet or one that didn't come from the Marksman

  did you watch the vid? never mind the bullet hitting the window what about the officers in the line of fire, the road, chemical depot and house / transport yard as a back stop??

I called past there today and took some pics will post them later

From that far away I really couldn't say if they were in the line of fire or not. Plus I have no idea what the guy behind the trigger could see. These guys do use their guns in built up areas as a nature of the job so I'd prefer to trust their judgement a bit more than the local rag that can't tell the difference between a 6 week calf and a far older beast.

yer - I'd say it was nearer 6 MONTHS old. Typical journalistic twist to try and muster some shocking content on behalf of the wee baby calf.

I did'nt see the bull making any indication it was going to charge. It was probably stressed at being away from its herd. It would probably have have settled down if left a while.

“It could have killed someone,†said company director Jonathan Turner

Of course it could have killed someone, it was a ******* bullet. I'm more amazed that a company director could be that thick, well no, hang on...

Oh yeah and it shot passed through the window during a health and safety meeting. You couldn't make it up! :good:

There is no minimum qualification requirement to be a company director.
