does curry sauce count as gravy.............?

Good God man , what a question to ask.  Curry sauce is no kind of gravy .

Please check the periodic table before asking such a question in future 😁.

But, you naysayers are forgetting that MM has a palate that is out of calibration, is single and learning to fend for himself.

Quite honestly he's doing a cracking job keeping himself going and slowly increasing his weight and all this done while regularly raiding the "eat me know or die" shelves at his local Waitrose.

Good on him.  :good:

Please note my next post.

Now that have really hit me below the belt Mel , and there was I thinking I had created an ideal meal for someone who couldn't make his or her mind up about what to do for tea on a traditional Friday night which was always a fish and chip night , so after giving it a great deal of thought I came up with what I thought was the ideal solution when they either fancied a nice bit of fish , or sausages and bacon , easy I thought , let them have both of them together , I have already had positive feedbacks from the likes of Delia Smith and Jamie Oliver who both thought it was .... well something different  , THANKS for your kind and honest opinion :good::drinks:

As a relative newbie to fending for yourself,  your lapse in concentration can be easily forgiven . To avoid a similar faux pas in the future , just remember that any confusion about incorrectly mixing foodstuffs,  just take a moment to breath and relax , then prepare another plate of food , and eat both . 😁

Those pigs in blankets would have been glorious,  on a separate plate , that also held , more bacon , fried tomatoes,  a couple of eggs (duck or hen , but never mixed), and a few fried mushrooms. 😁

When I lost my first wife , I only knew how to shop by picking things up at certain places on Asda shelves . If they changed things around in Asda,  me and the kids would just eat whatever was put in the same place .  I know how ridiculous that sounds now , but I just hadn't got the foggiest idea how to do it .  My lad (about 10years old at the time) had to help me with the shopping , because he'd done it more often than I had.

All things considered,  you're doing a damned fine job MM , just don't let ditchman lead you astray,  or you'll be eating curry hot enough to give you ring sting 😁.

Well maybe not a 100% tea totaler , I did go to a little drink party a couple of weeks ago and just had Orange juice , then the cold set in as we were in a big barn so I tried a glass of hot mulled wine , that was all I done was tried it , it was horrible and tasted sour so that was as near to a alcoholic I have had since the shoot dinner we had last February when I had a pint of Shandy and suffered with a hang over in the morning :drinks: , well not exactly a hangover but the making of one:lol:

Good evening Mel .... You know I never take comments to seriously and it's always nice to learn about these various subjects in a friendly manner , I do take on board anything that is going to make easier and also the negative bits so I can do my best to try and not to repeat my mistakes , but as you can see I am no cook and only someone who is not spending a load of time or money come to that in trying to produce a specialist meal , I often mixed things up rather than waste anything , the packet of Pigs In Blankets I opened last night had eight in the package , no way could I eat eight so I have now got five left , tonight's tea is already sorted out , tomorrow I am going to have a day out with a ride up the coast to look at the young Seal pups , no telling what time I will get back and the rest of the p i b could be used up with a couple of fried eggs and I might buy a carton of Mushrooms to go with them , also the tomato's I have got left might taste better if they were fried so it will be another mixture but should marry into each other , sorry to hear about your first wife and if you need any help with your shopping skills them just let me know :yahoo:

You couldn't eat eight pigs in blankets  ??? .  I think you need to put more effort in 😄😄😄.

You're right about the tomatoes they're always a bit dire at this time of year . I still eat them , but only because they're healthy.
