I used up tonight the bits and pieces that I had left over from my steak tea the other night ,I added a couple of extras which was Brie and Honey dip I got from M + S today that was reduced to 60p and a tray of Caulie that was a side dish on there Valentines day eat in menu , if I am honest the chips were the best part of the meal , the Prawns were like rubber with very little taste , although that could be down to me , the Mushrooms were not as nice as when they were fresh , the caulie was alright and the piece of steak was a bit tough , last but not least the Brie dip was far to spicy for me and I left it well alone and hopefully the birds might eat that in the morning  so all in all it was edible and just about alright

Ohhh that looks well tasty, a bit of crusty bread for the brie and i would make all that disappear faster than a whippet chasing a rabbit.

The Brie might had been better if I hadn't put the dressing over it as instructed , far to hot for me and you would be more than welcome to it and I will even get you a loaf of crusty bread , there you go I have got a heart even though it's just been repaired

MM now you have done a good job there, bet it was nice

It was nice but not as nice as the other night , this afternoon I went to another funeral and wasn't that hungry when it was tea time , the other day I had been out in the cold a lot and was ready for my tea . still it made a decent tea and above all I didn't waste a lot . MM

When you get to our age you need something to keep you going , I went to another funeral this afternoon to a chap who had a boatshed next to my one when we both started wildfowling  , only three months in the age gap and it make you realise that life don't go on forever . MM

Another confused plate of food MM 🤔 As long as it 'filled a gap' though 👍

Everything was getting past the sell by date JKD and rather than put it in the freezer I used it up , just about everything you buy pre packed is for two people , today I bought a cottage pie from M + S , it was meant for two so for tomorrow I will have half with veg and possibly Sunday I will have the other half either by itself or with some chips , things might not match but to me it don't really matter as long as I don't waste nothing and whatever I do is mainly edible .   MM
