steve_b_wales Posted Friday at 17:06 Report Share Posted Friday at 17:06 A friend of mine is interested n purchasing a NV scope. Ideally, it will be very good during daytime/dusk hours and then good using night vision. I use a Vulpine Mk3 with Solaris SRX Mk2 ir, so don't know what's best. His budget is around the £500 mark and there's a few out there for that price. It would be used for rabbiting/ratting and the occasional Fox. What would be the best? It's a great bit of kit, I know, but I don't think he wants to spend more that £500 -£600, as I know he won't be out shooting more than a handful of times per year. I'll mention it to him though. Spr1985 Posted Saturday at 19:08 Report Share Posted Saturday at 19:08 I own and use both the hik alpex a50 and the hik cheetah both fantastic scopes (in my opinion) @simon6ppc has put videos on here/youtube using both of the scopes mentioned and may be willing to give his opinion on them? The alpex can be picked up second hand around you friends budget and the cheetah brand new for your friends budget. Just another couple of options maybe worth considering 👍🏻
