Replacement for varget powder.

Recommended Posts

Having finished my last varget powder and not being able to get it now what are you peeps using for .243 up to 100gr soft point Inc 80gr 85gr.

My rifle is a ruger m77 mk2 stainless with I believe is a 1:9 twist rate

I'm  considering may be vihtavuori n140 or n150 ?

Using n140 for 75gr and 100gr getting half inch groups at the range and the foxes don't like the 75gr

Can I ask for little more info please .

What rifle

What bullets and weight of powder and C.O.L

I know what works in one rifle may very well not suit another

But making a couple of rounds to try won't hurt

You may be better off with N150, N160, 540 or 550

Viht show no load data for 100gr bullets and N140

If you want a bit to try before buying a tub let me know, I'm fairly local to you in Durham

That would be great if you don't mind ...

Just pm me time ect and I'll pop over I'm only beside the metro centre
