dustyfox
Just wanting to know how much you would pay for all the equipment for pigeon shooting when starting out for the first time. Stuff like decoys, camo netting, carryall bag, seat, etc Dont include camo suit got it already.
Cranfield
You would have to set a budget first, unless money was no object and then priorise the things you bought against your budget. Assuming you have a gun already, the cammo net, hide poles, seat and decoys would be first on my list. Some things you can make do with, like a sack to carry the things in. dustyfox
does £500 sound reasonable?
starlight32
Yes, 500 quid will get you a good set up.
Highlander
and starlight has just the set up for a lot less in the 'For Sale' section A bargain!
Blackbart
£500 will get you a lot of kit if you shop about, infact a lot more than you need. Providing you have a gun the very least you need is some cartridges a few decoys and a hedge! At the other end of the scale you could have 2 rotors,peckers,flappers,bouncers,5 dozen silosocks, hypaflaps, terminaters, extending hide poles, camo net in 5 different colours, swivel seat, and the list goes on and on. strudwick
£500 will do well. Don’t get crappy decoys even more so if your going to use decoys on a pigeon magnet if you dont want to use real pigeons.. Then nets I find don’t matter that much some pay lots for the real tree effect stuff I find that normal army type netting works well and normally cheaper. That’s what I find any case. Hope this helps

mag357
I am away this weekend but will reply on Monday. Just got back from twodays at sponsers and bought two shedloads of gear for a lot less than £500, also some good shooting on still sunny days but with no wind. Full report on Monday.
