Hodnet is my favourite ground, certainly one of the best Sporting layouts in the country, I used to shoot this event every year, but I won't be doing it this year, just got too much going on around that time, I may be going to France for the new year, but I'm sure it will be a good shoot, let's hope the weather is OK..??

[quote name='berettaman1'edit, just got back from the Victory shoot, started at 9.30, finished last stand at 2.40 pm. excellent targets, but long wait to shoot on most of them (over 40 mins, 3 times on different stands) Bitterly cold wind which effected a lot of the layouts, when I left a young guy there had put in a 91!! brilliant, I was not so brilliant! only carded a 72 x100, Ouch, best keep away from Mungler he would give me a thrashing.!! :good::lol: Mind you I was supprised to see a large contingent of shooters from SCOTLAND there, among them Edith Barnes, long time Scots Sporting and Skeet shooter in their International squads, Last time I saw her was at the 2004 Home International down Plymouth, Nice lady Great Shooter. in their group they had a young Colt I cant remember his name but he beat a lot of AA shooters on stand 10? Me Included!!what a future hese got. I did not see AAA or Emsey there so I cant comment how they shot, But it was as usual--- GREAT.

good shoot, i struggled and finished on 80. long day though we started at 9:45 finished around 3:30! looks like 300+ shooters starting before 10am is a recipe for disaster!! i started pretty good then got wet and cold and i went into autopilot. the wind certainly threw the targets around later on making life difficult. think i should stay away from the shooting till it gets warm again :good:
