monkeyboots
the fox that was missed was about to bolt from a hole but saw us and went back in quickly followed by the lurcher who was doing his best to get down the hole only for foxy to bolt from another hole and although the lurcher ran the fox to ground he ran it to ground in a earth that was overlooking a golf course so we decided it wasnt worth bothering with as there was a few people walking about the golf course

tikkamark
Great pictures mb that first one is well captured its a sight that get's your pulse racing no matter how many times you see it  What terriers do you use mb,do you have any more pictures of the terriers? We use jack-russels and patterdale-fell cross dogs they work really well the jack-russel just locates the fox and holds back the patterdale x does not hold back which sometimes gets her a nasty wound or two  Great to see a few terrier pics

Blackbart
I used to use 2 borders and 2 jacks at the hunt, the borders were a bit mad they would just run blind down the hole untill they bumped into something furry and then fight like a tasmanian devil, not many bolters The jacks on the other hand 1 in particular would bay all day and bolt 9 out of 10 foxes without receiving so much as a scratch.
